About
I started out bartending in New York City, which taught me more about pressure and people than I expected. Around 2020 I taught myself to code, and before long I was building React and React Native apps for paying clients. I enrolled at LSU New Orleans to back that up with real CS fundamentals, and somewhere between systems programming and cryptography I got hooked on how software fails. That led me to VCU's SAFE Lab this summer as an NSF REU fellow, reverse-engineering a medical device in Ghidra. I graduate in December and I'm heading back to New York. Outside of work I'm usually running, cooking, or at the chess board. I will never turn down a game.
